Using Windows 7 for the first time was quite a struggle, however with the purchase of Windows 7 for Dummies I soon got into it and now Im up and running. Thanks again to Andy Rathbone the author.

I've found this as good as other "Dummies" books to understand both the basics and more advanced topics. The DVD was worth watching but I would not do so again as it's all in the book anyway.

A very helpful and informative book for someone like me, having not touched a computer for over 10 years. It has proved invaluable as it's the type of book you use when problems occur - it solves them in minutes and points you in the right direction. Thanks to this purchase I am learning new things all the time and it is constantly in use!

book is good but i cannot see the point of the dvd.if buying just buy the book .i am not a computer expert but i felt the dvd was just not needed. it was not what i expected at all.it was just an introduction to windows and not about using windows as a whole.most disapointing.stick with the book.
